What
do you think the future holds for fitness competition?
I am not sure what my future holds, some things are out of my control.
I know I will compete for only one or two more years. I co-hosted
my own show in Gadsden , AL on June 22 and I hope to bring a pro
show to Atlanta in the near future,
What
do you think of the addition of the Figure division? I
think the addition of Figure enables people without a strong dance
or gymnastics background, to compete. I hope they add a talent to
it too, whether it is a stamina or strength round or something to
entertain the audience. So it will display the skills of these women
who train so hard to look good.
What
do you think is the most important piece of advice you can give
someone who wants to compete in fitness? Know that it
takes a lot of time, energy, and dedication. It can be a wonderful
experience and remember to enjoy the process as much as the outcome.
Tell
us about your line of fitness wear - It is fitness wear
for women that uses bright colors and original patterns. It is unique
and several of the pieces can be used as street wear or even nightlife!
It is fun clothing made from Supplex material, so it will not shrink
or fade. It is a high quality product that complements many body
types, and hopefully makes women feel great!
Describe
a typical day - From 6:00 a.m. to 11:00am. I usually train
clients. I may have a break to do a cardio session (45 minutes)
and or weights for about 30 minutes. I then go home and eat and
work on clothing projects, phone calls, mail outs, etc. If I am
preparing for a competition I will work on my routine for about
30- 45 minutes and then I am back at the gym from 4:00 pm to 6:00pm
training clients. I follow that with a cardio session. I usually
try to work on website or writing for an hour in the evening before
I relax and crash and do it all over again! I am so blessed to find
different projects that I love.
